Robert Cintron Jr. is a native Floridian who was raised in Key West. Throughout his career, he has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of civil matters.
His experience includes disputes involving real estate, construction, business matters, homeowners, mobile home parks, windstorm and flood insurance, code enforcement, and general civil litigation. Raised in Key West, Robert graduated from Key West High School. He graduated cum laude from Florida State University in 1976 with a degree in political science and a minor in English, and received his law degree with honors from Florida State University in 1980.
Robert practiced law in Tallahassee for 14 years before returning to Key West in 1998. During his career, he has handled matters involving government entities, insurance disputes, fraud claims, business litigation, antitrust and civil RICO allegations, flood and windstorm claims, and community housing issues.
Robert has served as general counsel to the Key West Citizen Review Board since its inception in 2004. He also volunteered his legal services in efforts challenging excessive windstorm insurance rates in Monroe County.
