Robert has substantial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil lawsuits in state and federal courts.
Raised in Key West, Robert graduated from Key West High School. He graduated cum laude from Florida State University in 1976 with a degree in political science and a minor in English, and received his law degree with honors from Florida State University in 1980.
Robert practiced law in Tallahassee for 14 years before returning to Key West in 1998. During his career, he has handled matters involving government entities, insurance disputes, fraud claims, business litigation, antitrust and civil RICO allegations, flood and windstorm claims, and community housing issues.
